By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What OverpayCheck does

OverpayCheck is a self-service tool. From your answers, processed on your own device, it shows the deadlines and options that Social Security publishes for overpayments, and prepares a cover letter and a phone script that you send or use yourself.

What OverpayCheck is not

OverpayCheck is not affiliated with the Social Security Administration or any government agency. It is not a law firm and does not give legal advice or represent you.

We do not contact Social Security for you, we do not file anything on your behalf, and we do not promise any outcome. Social Security decides.

Your responsibilities

You decide what to send. Check that the letter matches your notice and your situation, add the true facts of your case, keep a copy, and respect the deadlines on your notice.

Price and payment

Checking your notice is free. A letter costs $29 ($19 for a lower monthly rate), paid once, shown before you pay. There is no subscription.

Payments are processed by our payment providers. When a reseller acts as the merchant of record for your order, its terms of sale also apply to the payment.

Delivery and refunds

The letter is digital and appears on your screen as soon as your payment is confirmed. Full refund within 30 days: see our Refund Policy.

Accuracy

The rules come from the public ssa.gov pages read on the date shown and may not cover your exact situation. The Service is provided "as is".

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the order concerned.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States.
